![]() ![]() and the "Enter Passcode" box looks like a button. oh, but that's not so on the "Enter Passcode" screen where the Emergency and Cancel text looks like any ol' text. ![]() I think they're dead wrong and that the original UI research published by the early Mac people the 1980's would seem to argue strongly against "flattening" and "minimizing" the UI elements as well as the various loss of "clear/consistent/repeatable target" instances and loss of "element differentiators."įor example, overall the style seems to indicate that any text that is a light blue is a "button"/link. Looks like the idea behind the (quite cheap looking) IOS 7 UI is that we no longer need or will benefit from real-world analogies (e.g., push buttons, slide switches, etc.) to make things obvious.
